(Adult and Junior)

PRO-AM, STUDENT/STUDENT & MIXED AMATEUR CLOSED SINGLE-DANCE RESTRICTED SYLLABUS COMPETITIONS

NEW OPTION: All of the listed levels are also available in the RISING STAR DIVISION.
A student may enter at the Rising Star Level if they have never won a contested event in that dance in that level and age group at the Heritage Classic.
The Proficiency option is available - these events are uncontested "scored" events but do not count towards your Dancesport Series score for Ohio. (Please indicate your preference on the entry form.)

There will be separate divisions for ladies and gentlemen in the pro/am closed single-dance events.
Competitors may dance in levels in the Closed events, e.g. Intermediate Bronze, Full Bronze and Preliminary Silver, and in 2 age groups (adults may dance down one age level, juniors may dance up one age level.)
A standards judge will observe all the restricted closed single-dance and three-dance events. These categories will be strictly supervised and competitors committing infractions may be penalized or disqualified.

Closed Competition Syllabus Guidelines
For Closed International Style competitions, use NDCA approved figures, elements and restrictions. For Closed American Style Bronze and Silver competitions, NDCA approved figures, elements and restrictions must be followed.
