In appreciation for the professional participation at the Heritage Classic, the organizers will award $200 per couple reaching the semi-final but not advancing to the final in the Open Championships provided a quarter final is required. (13 to 15 couples will produce a semi-final of 10; 16 to 24 couples will produce a semi-final of 12; 25+ couples will require a 4th round to produce a quarter final of 18.)

PROFESSIONAL COMPETITION PRESENTATION: Professional couples are advised that they should be prepared to dance onto the floor when introduced in the semi-final round of each event. Couples should prepare a suitable entry group not to exceed 16 measures of music. The selected introduction dances are as follows: American Ballroom - Viennese Waltz American Rhythm - Mambo International Standard - Viennese Waltz International Latin - Samba Finalists in the Open Championships will be introduced separately and enter the floor from the stage to dance a one-minute solo.
