NEW EVENT
We now offer separate DanceSport Series Championships that will qualify toward the Dancesport Series Regional Teams match representation in Ohio 2009.
A student may enter only ONE age level in the Dancesport Series Championships.
Age Divisions – (Unisex - Ladies and Gentlemen combined)
"A" Division: 16 to 35 years
"B" Division: 36 to 50 years
"C" Division: 51 and above
Session 1: 291 OPEN AMERICAN RHYTHM 5-Dance CC/R/SW/B/M
Session 6: 292 OPEN AMERICAN BALLROOM 4-Dance W/T/F/VW
Session 4: 293 OPEN INTERNATIONAL LATIN 5-Dance CC/S/R/PD/J
Session 8: 294 OPEN INTERNATIONAL STANDARD 5-Dance W/T/VW/F/Q
The Heritage Classic is proud to be a World Pro/Am Dancesport Series event - a series designed with the competitor and spectator in mind. Participation at the "Heritage Classic" will earn you points to determine your Regional and National Ranking.
The Heritage Classic is located in Region 2. We invite competitors who reside in any other region to use your accumulated $100 vouchers for up to 50% of your entry fees at the Heritage Classic Dancesport Championships.
The top twenty students at the "Heritage" will receive a Dancesport Series gold pin and a $100 Super Bowl voucher that can be used towards competition entry fees at any other Series event during the year located in a region other than your own.
You will also accumulate points from your participation at the "Heritage" towards the grand final event - the Ohio Star Ball in November 2009, when Top honors will be given to the Top 3 over all pro-am male and female students; Top Student/Student; Top 6 Teachers; Top Studios.
