POINT SYSTEM
Allocation of points for calculation of Top Students, Teachers and Studios will be awarded on the following basis:
Each entry 1 point
1st place 8 points
2nd place 7 points
3rd place 6 points
4th place 5 points
5th place 4 points
6th place 3 points
7th place 2 points
8th place 1 point
Each recall 1 point
Adult Multi-dance entries: Double above points.
No deduction taken for uncontested events.
To qualify, the teacher, with a minimum of three students, must all be entered on a package. Alternatively, a teacher with less than three students on a package may qualify with a minimum of 75 entries. "Sharing" students does not qualify both teachers. However, once a teacher qualifies, points will accumulate from all students with whom they dance.
